Mine was new, so getting an exchange from Emjay when new stock arrive. btw, i tested using the k-x Debug mode and a focus-adjustment of +200um give me a more correct focus.

I just went down to Emjay. Kevin says that this is a problem with the contact point/pins on the dial and body. He will adjust it and the problem should go away. In queue for Kevin time so may take a few days.
