hi viewmeme..... 17-40mm on the 20D, and 85mm on the 350D on standby in your bag should be very sufficient. IMO 85mm is perfect for tight head/shoulder solo shots.... find it too long on a 1.6x DSLR for anything else. what you already have sounds great!! save the $$ :)

i had modified the earlier version of the lens (that came with the 300D) and can confirm that it is unsuitable for Canon 35mm SLRs as the mirror hits the rear element and is not able to flip up completely. Tested on a Canon 500N.... not fiction :) .... Maybe the repairer that ricohflex...

look for the keywords "automate", "batch" or "actions" in the Photoshop Help. basically, you'll need to "record" an action (or a series of actions) and then use the automate/batch function to apply the recorded action(s) to the specified images. hope this helps :)
