I can understand why FTs are usually paid more even on the same position as companies will have to foot 15% more for CPF (+ more days off for reservist, etc), but close to 60-70% more? That, I do not understand.

I guess that's just capitalism. Companies just wanna maximize profit at lowest cost. Say there are no FTs / FWs. Companies will just migrate elsewhere where there are cheaper labor. And SG with no resources, will just be another small island... like those in the Pacific.

I agree with you. Most of the global citizens can travel anywhere they want to, or at least to the countries which need them. To even have some of the talent here is already a privilege.
