The Viewsonic monitor from the MO...

Agreed that native is the best, but i have to share working files so in order to come close in all displays, we must use a fixed color temperature. 6500K is too "bluish" for me... Cheers, nic

Hey SNAG, I have never ever seen an LCD display that doesn't display hue shifts at all. The question is how much? do realise that the more perfect something is, the easier to find a flaw. I believe that at this price point for a 20" wide screen, there is really none to compare. As for...

Guys Guys! This is probably the first time I heard people complaining about a bright LCD! 1) First of all, if you don't have a colorimeter, set to native 5400K. Looks yellowish at the beginning but your eyes will adjust to it soon enough. It is also closer to prints. 6500K is just wrong...

Try bring both to 70 range and profile again, color preset at 5400K (monitor) don't calibrate.

The Viewsonic monitor from the MO...

It's due to the fact that this display is very bright and contrast ratio is high, What I recommend for printmaking, is to reset to factory default, set to preset of 5400K and then PROFILE, not calibrate for one version of the profile. I wasn't used to bright LCDs before but I realise it has a...

    Which LCD Brand and Model

Hi Lawyon, Yes this is a rather new model and the price vs performance ratio is unbeatable so far for a 20.1" true 24-bit panel. As for LCDs, we can go a few pages long but key things to note is that we want a LCD panel that has a large color gamut so we can see most of the colors when we...

Viewsonic VX2025wm Evaluation (8bit/channel Flat Panel, Designed for Digital Imaging)

Hi bpribadi! Sorry I missed your post, I don't really understand your question. Do you mean in sRGB preset mode? I recommend you to set it at factory default first, bring the color temperature to 5400K then calibrate and profile accordingly. Using sRGB preset only limits the gamut...
