have u been to Myanmar yet..

Gorgeous images! I too had fallen in love with the scenic beauty of Myanmar's Bagan, U-Bein Bridge, Inle Lake, among many other sights. My last trip was in September 2009, armed only with a compact camera, but hope to go again soon, with my new DSLR! Can't wait to see more of your Myanmar...

If no work or family commitment, how long is your dream trip before returning home?

Without any work and family commitments, I would certainly go all over the world and maybe even settle down elsewhere. Not that I don't love Singapore (I still do), but I truly see the whole world as my home (even though foreign authorities might not agree with such a simple thing). I am...

    Canon 550D User Gathering Part 2 20 Nov 10

Yikes, looks like I might be too late, but if there's another group being set up, I'll love to join too. I am a still-learning but proud Canon EOS 550D user too. :)

    , Sodagreen Press Conference

Nice portraits, jjynwa! I absolutely love this group. Such a bunch of talented young musicians, and with such a unique sound. A couple of years ago when they were here to perform, I got to know them through a friend who's working with them, and they got me front seats to their concert...

    My Round the World Trip

Hey thanks, just added you there! I think the Flickr Pro account is a good investment, and after spending thousands on travelling (and photography of course), the premium fee is really negligible anyway. :) It might be a good idea to get all the pics out in one shot. I found from personal...

    My Round the World Trip

Would you mind letting us know your Flickr name? It might be easier to post and read comments under the photos themselves on the Flickr site, than by going through the various threads on the forum, IMHO. :) Edric http://www.flickr.com/photos/mermantravels/collections/

    Round The World Trip

Ugh, so sad to hear about those poor kids being lured by the bad guys! I can only hope that Karma would take care of these evil-mongers appropriately... When I went to Myanmar last year, I found all the people there so sweet and charming, especially the impoverished but very wide-eyed...

    Round The World Trip

I had similar thoughts and wonder too, what is the best thing to do in such situations. Most of the time, I only travel as a very low-budget backpacker, so I wouldn't have much spare cash to give away to the children anyway. But I do like the idea of "sharing" out pens and colour pencils...

    My Round the World Trip

I too salute Pupuce for breaking the mould. In fact, all these years I've noticed that there tends to be more female solo travellers backpacking around the world than guys! I salute them too! Personally, I am prepared to give up everything I have to do the same. And I have personally done...

    TungTong&D3 - 2010 SUPER INDIA ! ! !

Wow, to go to a vastly different country and experience life with the locals is one thing, and to "bring" us all along with you via your amazing photos is quite another. Kudos for that! I like how in many shots, you had established eye contact with the people there, and that really draws us...
