Travel Light - Regional Photo trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia

Just fyi. For Singapore passports, there is no need for visas. But it will be easier if you have a passport-sized photo for your pass to Angkor temples. Hope this helps.

    LetraGraphics Professional Lab

LongThaiBean, Okay... Spectra and LetraGraphics were separate entities (now tt Spectra has exited). Spectra was located at the JTC factories along Bendemeer Road while LetraGraphics is located diagonally opposite in another JTC site closer to Kallang Bahru. When Spectra closed, I was told by...

    LetraGraphics Professional Lab

Del_CtrInoAlt, Understand your concerns on this. But from what I understand, they do high quality scan on individual slides as they were more tuned to the needs of commercial entities. So I guess that means you can zoom in on your best slides for scanning then. But what I really suggest is that...

    LetraGraphics Professional Lab

Okay, here are some of the answers I managed to get from May: For now, the discount of 10% for processing applies to 10 rolls and above (yeah, not so attractive), but at $6, the price is still okay and collection can still be done the next day (the fastest I ever got done was within a day -...

    LetraGraphics Professional Lab

They do printing too, but the prices are not very competitive. Will talk to them again this afternoon to see if they can work something out. Actually until recently, their processing prices for unmounted were even lower, but was told that running costs had increased. Personally I dun mind as the...

    Petition to KMSC

Signed already. 10 signatures now. Seriously, KM already lags behind CnN in market share. How to appeal to more people when even aftersales service is not customer oriented? :(

    Northern Vietnam

Seng, Phat Diem is about an hour's car ride from Tam Coc. However, it will be the only major attraction over there. There is also another old church nearby which you will see just before you reach there. But if you are not into shooting churches/architecture, then its not the place to go...

    Northern Vietnam

Hi Seng, I assume your 1st two pics were taken from Tam Coc? While the scenery there was nice, I was pretty much put off by the aggressive hawking by the hawkers and even the rowers there. Personally I like #1 best. Btw, did you manage to go to Phat Diem to see the Catholic Church? The...

    Mike Johnston on the 7D

Hi all, I just happen to read a favourable article on the 7D by Mike Johnston at Photonet. Below is the link: http://www.photo.net/mjohnston/column75/ Incidentally, it was his critique of the Dynax 7 that motivated my switch from Canon a couple of years ago :)

    Shooting in Penang

It is on the northwest side of Penang. It is supposedly one of the nicer beaches around Muar. You need to go to Teluk Bahang and then trek or hire a boat there. Read that Pantai Duyung is pretty dirty these days due to the garbage disposed by tourists. :(

    Shooting in Penang

Hi, Anyone knows whether it is worth it to go to the Butterfly Farm and Pantai Kerachut at Penang for photoshoots? :dunno: I'm into landscape and macro there. Thanks in advance.

    Minolta Service Center?

Last time I checked, you can do so by just bringing your guarantee card to ensure them that you are a genuine Minolta owner (weird, actually). But agree it can be a hassle to go all the way there. Hope this helps.
