Tiong Bahru SIT buildings would be a nice place to start for some art deco style buildings. China town for some shop house clutter. I think there are some buildings in Mt Sophia that is worth looking at too. The new La salle and toy museum in Bugis area are nice for its funky facades.

Without the ability to convey an idea, emotion, time or memory, a photo is a pictorial record. I want to make photos, not just take photos.

Hi Danial, To be frank, I dun really get the lost in time message in the photo. It seems like Raffles and his statue is here to stay as a timeless icon in the ever changing city scape, unless of course, he gets replaced by a much imagable icon.
