Maybe due to some possible future legal concern and seeing how the man is a potential party to that concern it is probably best for him to keep his mouth closed and monitor his actions as much as possible at this point. Any possible problems with protocol need to be rectified urgently so to ensure the safety of the public and staff. Surely the families are being attended to.

To be fair accidents happen everyday. Of course if it is repetitive accident then we cannot accept. Who want to be expose to danger if they have a choice and who want to make those difficult decision know g the danger?
It is an expensive lesson and we must learn from mistakes. More importantly, management must take safety as top priority over commercial and political risks. If masses have to wait a bit longer and be unhappy so be it.
