I am still fat.

Take a look at a certain segment of the USA population with diabetes - the natives. Western diets have wreaked havoc on them. Sugar salt starch all of that is essential folks. The abundance is the kicker...not enough and you have malnutrition. I find it interesting when they can give rich electrolyte drinks and diminish the infant mortality rates in the underdeveloped world. If you are fat it is definitely a first world problem. You are lazy and or have an underlying genetic propensity to whatever. But i say it goes even deeper than that...

Eat fish instead...lol

Maybe u can give us a real insight into the health problems of Americans

Obesity number one problem. Cause processed foods beginning in the fifties. When pop was made with real sugar not quite as many fatsos (not as many extra value fast food meals either) Then industry moves over to corn syrup and supersize meal and voila within 10 years we start having fat people everywhere. Another thing real weird over past twenty years...girls reaching puberty earlier and earlier. Everytime I go into a big box store all I see are seriously fat people everywhere...it is astonishing. If America is unable to get to the grocery store they're going to go bat sh!t crazy!

Unfotuantely your radical feminist and SJWs has ****-block that with their fat shaming. heh

But sugar is really good for recovery, after training, got aches and pain in the muscles, take some sugary drinks and the next day the pains are mostly gone. No wonder those bodybuilders take so much banana. Taken with protein really powerful.
Not an expert by any means, but my observation of ppl with non functioning pancreas, problem with uptake of glucose in the blood, their muscle mass drops drastically.

I take in a lot of sugar each day. Primarily from chocolate milk which rehydrates and provides protein for muscle processes but also has fat (I like a donut in the morning too)...which for a guy like me with good metabolism very active is okay because that is what I burn. I don't drink much pop and if so most of the time caffeine free and made with sugar instead of corn syrup. Lots of OJ for me too..prefer not from concentrate but it is typically high in sugar. I eat lots of fattening meat (paleo diet) mainly smoked or grilled and vegetables and fruits pretty regularly. Fish is my favorite but I like it fried. I am fortunate but I am also like to move. It is easy for me...my problem is not eating enough and sometimes the sleep issue. It really is a balance deal.

I have considered vitamins but I am really not to enthusiastic about the idea of taking pills.

Kudos bro
For having a positive attitude and an active lifestyle despite the illness.
Everyone should take care of their health. A little less sugar and everything in moderation should be our byword.
As someone with diabetes for more 15 years.. and keeping a close watch. I find it funny the report is misleading the figures.. We are ranked about 67th out of about 190+ countries in the world. With an estimated 500,000+ people who have diabetes. The leading one not surprising is CHINA (100,000,000+ of diabetic) with their consumption in the last decade of decadence wealthy spending and USA is second..And this from the same site she supposedly quote from.

Nevertheless, the problem is that workaholic mentality that employees put themselves thru for the job and employers love people who put work above everything else. Great for short term gains, but long term, you have more unhealthy people or dead people .

Irregular meal time, too much bad choices for meals, not enough exercise, rest, stress management, sitting at the desk at length, junk food and fast food junkie...etc.

I have seen a few times, children especially when given their meal, would pick out veggies to throw or not eat, they want fast food with usually processed meats (hot dogs, over fried or breaded food, too much carbohydrates intake ( rice, pasta, below ground root produce like potatoes among other food type, even too much fruit can be a bad thing, sodas...etc. When I talk about healthy food with folks, many to my surprise the so call "smartphone internet people" get so many things wrong or mislead. There are a lot of misinformation out there as some corporation is all about profit and steering you in direction to make money on the unsuspecting people.

Take the time to research while you look pathetic at a table on a romantic dinner and both you and your lover are staring into your smartphone. ;pDouble or triple check your information.

And please note, SUGAR is NOT the only EVIL items you should be watching. Eating too much starchy food is just as bad. Anything in excess is bad once you start to find out more information about what you put in your mouth. heh

There are other issue that are related to sugar intake then just putting on weight, diabetes come above from constant bombardment by your high sugar which it has to produce more insulin to deal with it till it comes to a state where it can't keep up and start to build up an resistance which is where it leads to diabetes ( depending on your genes, I got mine from my mother's side ) and then ....there are other issues still you might not be aware of and newer findings on the effects of sugar.

Try to give this a go if you can, take yourself out of sugar as much as down to maybe some for coffee. Don't eat sugar base dessert, sodas...etc Lower your starch down a little but more anything that is made with sugar as an ingredient. It may surprise how suddenly your mind sharpens up and you actually have more snap to your being. We like to think sugar give us that ZING... not really, When you over do it, the reverse can happen a long with other symptoms.

In your 40s, you are getting there. The body will start to drop in performance and certain pattern of food will start to play up. By the time you hit 50, it takes a notch down further. At times subtle at time it just takes a dip. Not saying you should give up all the nice food but it is time to start listening to how your body digest food as you grown older.

We had a home cooked meal tonight. 2 adults 2 teens. One pork chop some corn and a banana each plus there was gravy. I had chocolate milk mom had h2o and boys had pop. Sort of typical American diet except for much more conservative on portion size and items. Had popcorn too. We (my family) try not to eat out because it is expensive and you can cook and do dishes and get a better more wholesome meal out of it.

I went for ma guang for slimming down before. They actually gives me stuffs that's contains bean/soya. Ended up that I will be visiting toilet after meal. Then when I stopped treatment and consume bean/soya stuffs, I will also visit toilet for sure for a period. Now I ended with gout as too much protein in me. Slim down by medical ways do have side effects.

If people want to sell you their 'slim food' just turn around and leave. Wasted time and a sure waste of money.
The basic formula is: eat less, eat more conscious and knowing, move more.

For now, back to bowling. Will try to pick up cycling again. Then maybe play basketball after woke up from sleep after night shift. Also some workout at the basketball court too, since no one around also on weekdays. Weekend then go cycling if doing it, less traffic as I prefer to go on road even it's a mountain bicycle. See how after a yr or so. Maybe down by 5 kg before trip to dubai. Heh heh!

Sounds like a good plan. Be comfortable don't push to hard and work hard on maintaining the regimen. I bet you'll feel great soon!

Did a 10 games bowling yesterday. Will do it again next week n stays away from phone gaming as not worth for time n $ spend. Maybe reduce back to 100 by this year.

Quit yr phone gaming totally. It's bad for eyesight, hand nerves and body weight.

Not many ppl know the bad side effects of phone gaming
