I think it was a bad time for any opposition party to contest anything...country still in mourning over LKY whether you admit it or not so they are going to sit still where they are at. Timing against opposition here.
Another thing if any opposition party wants to be relevant they better get their act together now and formulate what they are going to offer in 5 years time. Work needs to start on that right now. It is going to be a compromise too. Credit probably should be given to the ruling party as I bet it not an easy job.
How do you all see the opposition parties becoming most effective in the future (if gaining seats is what is effective)? What should they be doing???

with staged courts. Censorship on all channels, day after day. He wins as ever and the people cheered.

That's is how Zimbabwe stays as a progressive and prosperous state in the Dark Continent.
Without a strong leader and party it'll be merely surviving under the shadow and influence of Russia.
