Super Moon tonight 29 Aug ()

Weather permitting, we will be observing Super Moon, stars and planet outside Bishan Park McDonald's tonight, Saturday 29 Aug 2015 from 7pm.

Come join us and look through our telescopes. All are welcomed. Free of charge as it has always been.

Here are the timings with reference to Singapore's local standard time for tonight's Super Moon:

Moon Rise = Sat 29 Aug 2015 at 6:46pm
Full Moon = Sun 30 Aug 2015 at 2:26am (Super Moon)
Moon Set = Sun 30 Aug 2015 at 7:11am

Wherever you are tonight, take a good look at the Moon and see if you find it bigger than other Full Moons!

No problem. Any optics is better than no optics (naked eyes) if you want to see magnified view of Moon.

Last night I went outside see, look the same like any other month full moon leh. No difference visually. I use my scope took a pic, not much details. Maybe need real telescope then can photograph better
