Cropping for Print - To Follow Aspect Ratio or Not?

Helllo people!

I was asked by a friend to help take some pre-wedding (casual) photos. His fiancee mention that she may want to print some of my shots out. However, all my life, I have always cropped my photos to aesthetic and composition purposes as I only post them online. Basically, my question is, do I have to follow any aspect ratio for prints?

Cheers guys!

Depends on what size they want to print ah (though you can always cut..). And what do they want to print? Just standalone prints or photobook?

If you're talking about fixed sized prints like 4R, 8R, A4, A3, yes, of course you have to consider the aspect ratio of the desired output.
If you're talking about custom-sized prints, it's up to you. Print and trim to fit.
