There is also probably a great amount of price manipulation and those shorting gold may run out of steam. Just make sure you get the physical gold.

Yes, the price of gold is very unpredictable except for the ten years from 2000 to 2010. Now I think there are many hands manipulating it so unless you can get into the head of the most powerful manipulator you wouldn't know.

But looking at recent trend and with Ah Ben saying QE will continue, it looks like it is on the way up.
