How about warranty then? Amazon products doesn't comes with international warranty ? What if it comes out as oil issues ?

Yer, Nikon International warranty only covers lens.

Life is a gamble, I am betting that Nikon wont have the same issue two times in a row.

Also I have relations I can always send it to for service, the money saved would still under any shipping costs. So for me I feel safe, for others... like most things in sg you get screwed over the local distribution agents or you take a risk,

I think with the 1/2 frame capabilities of this camera, it is sure to be a winner... This would be great with the new 10mm Rokinon (not out yet), a 20mm voigtlander (or some equally compact AF 20mm, whatever), and a nikon 100 f2 Dc or 135 F2 DC...It should give my M4/3 gear a run for the money in 1/2frame...He He Just dreaming...

i think what DD123 means is that D7100=D400 considering that most of the features of the D300s and D7000 has been merged into the D7100.

He probably meant that the D7100 was the D400, since the D7000 and D300 line seems to have merged and the D7100 was the end product.

Well, they could put the D4's fast shutter-mirror mechanism with the D7100 sensor, spread the 51 point AF to the entire DX frame, endowed it with a huge internal buffer and a high speed (XQD?) interface all in a D800-like body. Throw in mic level controls and *bang* - D400!
