Yes, not as versatile but the 24L is still a gem.

Yeah the 24L is definitely a gem and crazy sharp too...but there just seems to be something special about the 35L...well I am happy with the 24 now just miss the 35 at times when I am out.

The 35L is pure bliss. It makes great shots so much easier.

I got a 35l. Looking for a landscape uwa. The 24 lii too close to 35l?

No. They are completely different.

Agree. Confirm guarantee chop different. I switch from 35L to 24L. IMO 24mm is a specialized lens, and u either love it or hate it.

While I love the 24L I don't really use it as a landscape uwa. A Zeiss 21mm might be better.

Thanks. Dont the zeiss means manual?
If you have 35l and want a uwa for landscape. Would 14lii be better?

The 14L is very costly. For 14mm, there are people who would prefer to use the Nikon 14-24 on Canon bodies. Again this is done manually. Manual focus is ok for landscape. Otherwise you can consider the 16-35Lii.

If not, just buy the Sigma 12-24mm :D

Thanks.
Considering 14l or 16-35l. Cost vs sharp vs zoom
Not sure about manual, 14-24 nikon or 21 zeiss
Havent look at sigma 12-24. Does it work on ff?
Maybe this is not a good thread. Uwa thread

Agree this is not a good thread for this.
You should.visit this site

and decide for yourself what is best. Good luck!

Used to own 35L but find the USM focusing a bit slow.
Could it be due to 5dmk2 Body or lens ?
Image wise, yes it is good.

The 12-24 is a FF lens.

35L for me!

The 100mm f/2.8 macro is a true gem. I'm absolutely in love with the bokeh.

Nice rich colors. Is this the L or the non-L?

The photo was taken with the non-L lens. Both the "L" and the non-L have similar IQ. The "L" version of course, has the advantage of "IS".

I like the 100mm f2.8 macro

I wanted to start shooting insects, but found out that macro wasn't my cup of tea. So instead of selling it and lose money, I used it to shoot human head shots. Love the results :)
