Problems with my dry cabinet

Hello there,

I happen to have purchased an Akarui Digi dry cabinet 26l, and seem to have a lot of difficulty adjusting the RH. No matter where I turn the dial to (L/M/H), the RH keeps going back to 30%, and I can't seem to control it at all! D: I did some searches and realised that I'm not the only user who faces this problem, but so far no one has offered a solution to this problem yet. Any other akarui users who faced this problem but managed to solve it?

It could be a problem with the hygrometer (display of RH). Try to exhale on it and see if the RH goes up or just leave the door open for 5 mins and see how.
When you say "the RH keeps going back to 30%", I assume you mean that it goes to some other value then goes back to 30%?

Tried doing that already. I tried exhaling, fanning moist atmospheric air into the cabinet to raise the RH to about 50 before closing it again, but after a few hours it goes back down to 30% again. I've also tried tapping the meter, but it still remains at 30 too!

Hmm. I said it keeps going back down to 30% because I try to bring it up to about 50% through the means above, but it goes back down to 30% after awhile.
