Anybody going Bali or Lombok from 2 - 6 Aug?

Lone male traveller looking for kakis to dive Bali/Lombok, trek Mount Rinjani, or just plain photography/sightseeing during 2 - 6 Aug period. If you happen to be there and planning to do the same things (esp trekking Mount Rinjani) and don't mind an extra travel partner, please PM me.

I have just came back from Lombok , to trek Mount Rinjani you need 3 days 2 nights because you need to camp at the summit for 1 night.With only 5 days I don't think it enough & don't forget you must go to Gill Islands for it magnificiant sea gardens

yeah... that's why i am only contented to take picture of Mt Rinjani from the national park haha....

i am flying by silkair, so reach Lombok in the evening (found a place to crash in for the night), then next morning take boat to Gili Trawagan for another day (overnight as well) then the day after, go back to main land to stay for another 3d2n to explore the remaining Lombok.

I will be in Bali with my friends from 31 July to 2 Aug, then on 2 Aug I will part with my friends and proceed to Lombok alone by flight. 3 - 4 Aug I will do the 2d1n advance summit trek, 4 Aug night to 5 Aug afternoon I will laze around Senggigi, evening I will take a flight to Jakarta then transfer back to Singapore. Don't intend to stay too long in Lombok as I will be alone, just treat it as a recce trip.

Just wanna find out for those who have trek Rinjani, do we have to bring all our stuff up the mountain, or is it like Mt Kinabalu where we can leave some of the stuff in the coach or park HQ?

Mt Rinjani is more "raw", u sleep in tents... dun think got accommodation up there.
