NDP Rehearsal Aerial Display & Fireworks --- Anyone Interested?

Will this be the best location?
Where exactly do they do the fireworks? In the middle of the bay? or somewhere close to the Esplanade? or somewhere close to MBS?

in my experience, the fireworks has always been fired from the same spot for NDP and NYE.
There's a floating platform in the water between Esplanade and MBS, closest spot think will be the Merlion Park?

For NYE they usually fire up close to the Merlion Park, if you stand there and watch, can even get firework ashes in your hair.

Hi Jawong,
You can try from the Lotus Bowl or the cafe at MBS pointing towards Maybank.
The fireworks are almost double the height of Maybank so you might want to tilt your angle vertical and higher instead of being level.
The main fireworks starts around 8.10pm and last 15min with the finale part after a 30sec interval.
Please bring a tripod to shoot and read up the sticky thread posted by the good people of CS on how to shoot fireworks.

It has already been running for the past three weeks with the ticketed rehearsal starting last Saturday.
Road closure with part of the walkway around the floating platform blocked off from 4pm onwards.
Not a real problem but just an inconvenience.
Starts at 6pm and ends at around 8.15pm.
Idea location would be MBS but the fireworks would be a tad too close while Esplanade catch a good side view and Esplanade getting smoke from the fireworks.

Just be there early to chop a place if you are worried.
