14 more Days.... still in india, varanasi... in the holi city for another week...
Already seen the show on a flight overseas.... good and bloody. The 'internet' uncut version is even more bloody...
Randomers have exactly 13 members.
This may be the ultimate movie about them. :bsmilie:
Saw the show, quite entertaining..
Lot of sacrifices in the show can actually be avoided..
a the more must watch since i am crazy about the samurai and their fighting arts
3 more days to go...
me too... still remembered Takeshi Kitano's Zatoichi... love it and the way he uses his blade as a blind swordsman...
yes bro well i already into Samurai since i was a 5 years old kid. Now i am 3 dan in kendo after 11 years of hard training.. (it's a modern version of kenjutsu..)
I am also training in the arts of iaido (the arts of drawing out the sword and kills swiftly). Will PM you more info if you're interested to join
Both arts are good for body and mind, staying healthy. Both arts have some spiritual connections to Buddhism 'Zen' and deeper understanding of Bushido 'way of the warrior'...
Bro,
do you know where to buy the Samurai Armour?
I heard they have the Tiger Armour etc ...
My boss got 1 Samurai armour sitting right in the living room, so cool !
bro, the samurai armour is very expensive... your boss must be very rich!
you can order online, maybe this site @ http://www.samurai-store.com/
for me just a practical japanese sword will do
Bro,
My Ex-Boss was a Japanese.
He is a MD.
He gave me a japanese sword ... something about Musashi ...
I dont know what is the meaning of him giving me a sword ???
But when i left the company, he asked me to pursuit the way and learnt if my time permit to.
When you say expensive ... actually how much??
WOW! I feel that your Japanese ex-boss is a practitioner of Japanese swordmanship just like me...
it is a 'honourable' gift to you, he wants you to train in Japanese swordmanship!
The Japanese armour is very expensive because of the tedious workmanship, craftmanship, Japanese export tax, Singapore custom tax, plus Singapore Police's license... not to forget you have to maintain it clean!
I would advise you to get a miniature version of it...
Bro,
The miniture version of the Samurai armour, i already have 2 ...
I have this crazy idea of wearing a samurai armour suit to my company D&D ... hahaha ...
I see if i can take a picture of the Katana at my house and show it to you.
