Aiyah, your mum's attitude is correct lah...but most importantly you must UNDERSTAND why she does it. Same goes with my kiddo. He doesn't ever need to spend his ang pows anyway...

No need sigma 70-200... My 80-200 can kick its butt in IQ anyday. and only cost me 700 and it is quite minty.

Tammy 90 new cost only 520-530 locally... 3 year warranty. And it is very sharp. very very good review.
The next step up in focal length will be the Sigma 180/2.8
Anyway, 3rd party lenses also qute good. And on top of it all, I need to save money for that "bigger and better" thing in Q3 this year...
