I am yet to have big zoom lens.
Anyone use the 3kg or 5kg(able to hold weight of the kg) one before?
Do we really need the 5kg one, or the 3kg one is generally more than enough?
Any suggestion or recommendation?

The Gorrilapod focus was a little too big for me. The SLR-Zoom works great if u do not overload it, you can always count the weight of ur existing setup. I have mounted almost 2kg of load including my 5d2 on it with good stability.

There is of course no future-proofing if you decided to get even heavier lenses next time, which in anycase if you are worried then get the Focus..
