Any butties using AFS 16-35 0r 16-85? Any difference from 17-55mm? From practical points of view, please.

16-35 ish FX rens, 16-85 and 17-55 are DX renses. no chance to use 16-85 and 17-55 on my D700 so cant compare to my 16-35.

Practical point of view..:think: Let me try..

16-35 - 2.2x zoom, FX lens
16-85 - 5.3x zoom, DX lens
17-55 - 3.2x zoom, DX lens

IQ wise should be 16-35 better, as the rule always applies, less zoom less distortion..
But I think usage (as in the range of focal length u use) should be the main factor..

your wedding shots are getting better and better liao :thumbsup:

composition is better, and your usual heavy vignetting style is no more there... change for the better. That's the way to go man..
