I'm not sure how pple read the posts.. but notice that very often, they missed one important point of the whole discussion on PP and damage control..

It's is meant for accidents. Not meant to be a standard workflow.

No matter how seasoned or professional a photographer is..

No one is immune to "accidents". anyone heard of murphy's law?

Yea " Anything can go wrong" though I'm quite not sure what are you driving at lol, I'm offering my opinion on post processing thats all :dunno:

misunderstanding.. sorrie.. I guess I read too much text.. :)

hihi everyone..

i guess the issue of editing or touch up is a very subjective issue ba..

cause it differs people from people too...so everyone holds a different views n concept of it..but end of the day i guess we just wanna to have a good shot and nice pictures to share our common interest in photograhpy ya!

but the phrase "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" really is nice! everyone has different preferences in the things that we like~

sorry but i have no idea at all :D

lol what asepect you talking about? I dont quite get it

Hmmmm.... Ok Ok ...
We dont want to guess lah.

Actually, that day we're discussing about taking pictures in raw as compared to jpg.

For salvaging a picture, there's 2 part

1. Recovery of details.
2. Enhancement (adjustment/touchup) etc..

Had that picture been taken in JPG only, any recovery would be futile.. Step 1 is not possible, and it's better to just discard the picture then to attempt to salvage it.

Bcoz it was taken in RAW, recovery might be possible. And as shown, who can tell from the final product that the picture was blown?

So.. it just a matter of RAW vs JPG.. :)

lol side track a bit, ipad launching on friday, do you think there will be a crazy queue and it goes out of stock in 2 days?

I would be more interested in iP4....

But guess it wouldn't be cheap.. so.. cannot be bothered.. heehee..

Yea i do agree with that!! but its always better to take in raw right? but shooting in raw really eats up alot of memory~

Singaporean love to queue :>
u will not see me in the Q though.
are you getting any?

lol i remember the hello kitty queue many moons ago. I intent to get one and am contemplating if i should take a day off to buy it in case its sold out the next day, lol i know it sounds a bit silly.. hahaa :D

iphone 4 shouldnt be as exp as ipad, as its subsidized by the telcos. Unless you wanna buy one without any contract. Given the recent ip4 reports, probably its better to wait awhile before buying
