humans are animals, why are they different?

i would not allocate the same right to a wild animal, for example, a wild boar that cannot find water does not need people dropping out of the sky to shower it with gatorade. but when we take animals into captivity, and bring them into our homes; whether domesticated or wild, we are responsible for them, since we have imposed upon their lives and chosen to take charge of them.

it isn't a clearcut issue, that's for sure. but i think things like cutting a chicken's throat versus pinning it up on a dartboard and playing darts with it to kill it.. there is necessary cruelty, and unnecessary cruelty.

that said, if you don't care about tigers, why should you care about humans? why should you care about yourself? let's just not care about the whole world. apathy is a disease.

humans are only as good animals. just because we are have better hand and brain coordination do not mean we should take the life of animals. dun understand why does the government condone culling as i believe we humans do no have the right to take the life of another animal.

but well for myself i do not give a damn about humans anymore as none of us deserve any sympathy. the sight of babies and their crying irks me and i always curse them and their parents whenever possible. i have found peace in all the the sound animals make contrary to what some selfish humans think.

Good for you, fortunately many of your fellow human beings feel otherwise.

and for tat i would say freaky.

its the law of nature to kill and kill. be at the top of the food chain, for thats wad nature has decreed. WE are at the top of the food chain like it or not.

face it. tigers killing deers. foxes killing chickens. its natural and its in our blood.

yet there lies a 2 parter to the story.

i have not seen clear examples of intercommunity killing. or to specifically say, not many. majority help within the community, be it ants, bees, foxes. perhaps the only oddity can be praying mantis. yet the reason behind is still unknown.

selfish humans? maybe. but who isnt? self survival is impt none the less. yet what makes ppl human is the ability to consider for others. giving up a lil self benefit so that others can survive, so that all can survive.

check out the book called the selfish gene by richard dawkins. may bring in new insight on how to view stuff abt the world. if ur so pessimistic abt mankind, aka in urself, i'll be worried.

i'll not encourage the idea of cursing babies. u were once that noisy lil fellow too. be a bit more understanding. when u get married and u have kids, u will understand. provided u have enough faith in another person to have kids with.

you delude yourself.

there is a huge difference between the laws of nature - i.e. killing out of necessity, and what humans do sometimes.

and that is why you have overfishing, endangered species for ludicrous reasons like "oh, the xxx body part has great healing properties"

and hence the part of taking wad is necessary. yea. missed out that loophole there. thanks for highlighting.

but i still find cursing babies extreme.

once in a while we do find stuff trying to climb over our heads like tat tiger perhaps. but we are still at the top of the food chain. i believe the numbers of ppl killed by tigers are substantially miminal. considering we just nearly drove them to extinction

you speak of nuclear warfare like it's a part of a red alert game.

i think if anything, what happened in hiroshima and nagasaki, had the benefit of people no longer taking the use of such as lightly today.

when the nukes start flying, any survivors will be the top of the food chain in a dead world.

Whether joking or not, this is an inappropriate comment. Being in KPT doesn't mean you don't have to be responsible for what you said and can say anything you want. Drugging other people is a serious offence and is not something that's up for jokes. Warning issued.

and i was just pointing out that we are top of food chain. tats all. nukes will never be used thanks to this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_theory
in reality, humanity isnt that evil. we are taking steps to correct the past mistakes that our predecessors had done. there is no point in stating the problem only. i believe that finding solutions are more impt. nightmare, u may have not taken into account that humans are doing stuff to correct the issues u have mentioned.

and thats why we are human. we learn from past mistakes.

killing for food is only natural. culling is never.

to me cursing a baby is as common as some humans enjoy devaluing the life of animals.

does that mean u have to do so? it would put u on the level that u had mentioned urself.

u just shot urself in ur own foot.
