any recommendation for a wireless internet card for HP Pavillion Media Centre PC a 1288d?

this is quite urgent, so please help! thanks people.

yeah, have the wireless router set up ald. the thing is that the particular desktop does not have a wireless internet card or a internet receiver.

- USB wireless adapter for wireless connection to your wireless router
- Powerplug for wired connection to your wireless router

What wireless router are you using? A/B or B/G or A/B/G or B/G/N-draft router?

miqbal93 i am using a wireless modem mobile broadband on a USB stick. up to 5 can connect. go check out singtel deal.

I'm not sure if you get what TS needs.

TS already has a internet connection + wireless router at home. All he needs is either a PCI / PCIE wireless adapter or a USB wireless adapter dongle to connect to his home wireless network. The only thing that needs to be confirmed, is which kind of signal his wireless router is using, which is A/B/G or N-draft. Once he knows the signal type, all he needs to do is getting the right adapter for connecting to his home wireless network.

Recommending a BBoM is not in the right direction for TS. Additional subscription for another wireless connection where he already has one? :nono:

if you buy the USB just go for the 802.11n this is MIMO capable and can support wireless N routers. so your signal will have various options. a/b/g/n

this is just one example. you should try to type wireless USB and you can find alot. i suggest you go with the branded ones.
