i bought tokina 1 year ago, and just sold it at about sgd800, i bought at about sgd1100 incld the price of german steinzeisa filter, the buyer never bargain with me and straight away bought it... wasnt it too low? this lens i use rarely, very good condition :dunno: well, alraedy sold, cant do anything...

then now about this tamron 17-50, i wanna sell it too, i bought it at bout sgd700 incld the price of hoya filter too, so, if i sell it at sgd420, reasonable? bought it same time with tokina, also 1 year ago..

thanks...

willing seller, willing buyer. there is never a too high or too low. 450-500 is abt the market rate for ur tokina 2nd hand. but if you are looking for quick cash 420 will get u a buyer fast.

are you referring the tokina or tamron?
so u mean in act sgd800 is acceptable market price?

A new Tokina 116 retails about slightly above $900 now (not sure why yours was so expensive a year ago), so $800 is quite reasonable for a second-hand piece.

Don't worry about your tokina anymore. Its sold.
The Tamron 1750 sells for 450-550 second hand.

Because of the $20 con-job "Steinzeiser" filter that he probably bought for $200.

IMO, always check the current price and what others selling at B&S...
