New Lens Rumor - Pentax D FA 100mm F2.8 Macro WR

Oh well . . . I was looking around for a 1.2 back then but cannot afford the price so ended up with a couple of 1.4s, 1xChinon and 1xCosina and 1.7s, both Ricoh Rikenon Ps.

But only can use on manual/auto SLR as the lens dun stop down on the K20D:cry::dunno:

Ha. I went through Fengwei's sales posts after seeing the thread on the k135. Saw the f*300 in such pristine condition, i was like mai tu liao!!! Immediately called Fengwei for dealing in the evening. ok, I told my wife about the decision before that though.

Seriously, I had always wanted a 300mm but I avoid SDM like plague one. Also have heard so much about the F*. The size is so diminutive for a 300mm it was a pleasant surprise when I first saw it physically just now. And any Pentax lens with a "F" and "*" or "Limited", the built is impeccable.

Looks like the normal DFA 100mm f/2.8 Macro is no longer shown in their lens line-up on the Japanese website.

anyway at 49mm and only 340g for a 100mm, im quite impressed, but im more interested if the image circle can cover FF... angle of view is state at 24.5 for film slr, is this a indication its FF compatible ?

why design for FF when on film cannot really use as intended for many slr since there is no aperture ring, oni make sense on dslr FF...hee hee sounds good to me...
