hi

can anyway suggest and compare between which is the better buy, irregardless of money.
and dun think wanna go into SLRs. over budget.
want to get decent pictures but not too exp....
capping everything below 1k total

i comparing SX1 , SX10 and SX20

what is the pros and cons... between them. and best out of the 3 and why?

can any expert analyse ?

hi bro firstly there are very good websites that have already pitted the cameras together to make comparison n reviews... suggest u to google something like SX10 vs SX20

if budget no issue, certainly SX1 is the best among the 3, simply for the full HD video n faster fps...

but i suggest u also consider the G10/G11

I tested the SX20 IS, Noise control and cleaning algorithm from Digic 4 is very good imho.

The only stopping factor is the lens. I find it inferior over S2/S3/S5 IS lens.
SX20 IS has the best noise performance among SX1, SX10 and SX20.

See if u are a video guy. SX1 wins in 1080 video, SX20 with 720p and lastly SX10 480p.
As for quality image, SX20, SX10 then SX1 IS.
Do google and read the reviews of the 3 cameras. I prefer SX20 since it has decent 720p video and good image quality.

noise performer as in better with less noise?

wats the diff with CCD and Cmos lens? ... with same pixal example????

and i found online ,

SX10 , for the budget, HD video,
SX20 , for the 12MP , no face detect in video,
SX1 , for the full HD and cmos sensor which said better pics quality?

i okie with settling with 10 MP, and SX1 seens better , better pics and video... hmmmm

think i finalising Sx20 and SX1 .... cmos and CCD.... sensor make so much diff? ... dun wanna becoz 100 bucks diff to miss out a better performer...
and both seens good...

of coz face detect... video good.. all those necessary functions.. extras will be better...
dun mind a newer technology of the newer IS20 have

Seems SX1IS perform slightly poorer then SX10IS

Yes it is. I am surprised how SX20is performed in terms of noise control. Will post pictures soon...
