've been leeching on my colleague's nikon D50 and got addicted to it.
(love the shutter speed of dslr & how i can play ard to get different effects)
and recently he ask for it back (darn!) so decided to get 1 myself.
been scoutin ard this forum for a good buy
but how come all the listing on personal for 2nd hands is so ex oso?
so thought i go comex n buy.
was in for a shock lo..the nikon counter was sooooooo crowded.
i couldnt even get close to feel the cameras.
but i did overheard some interesting conversations:
Nikon salesman on a D500 (N)
Female customer (C)
N: erm, after deducting the voucher, the best price is 1249.
C: huh? but i dun need the camera stand, cleaning kit all no need, just need the camera
N: those are free, cannot deduct anymore, 1249 is the best price.
C: okay, then if i buy 2 got discount?
N: *speechless*
C: no have meh, usually buy 2 got twin pack price mah
Customer 1 (C1) on a D90
Customer 2 (C2)
C1: wah, very cheap hor, how to use huh?
C2: oh, very easy, just press here (refering to the shutter button)
C1: eh, how come so blur one?
C2: isit, lemme see, aiyah, i think spoilt le lah, they put here for pple test, test until spolt le
**FLIP**
seriously, 1) is the economy still bad, pple can buy dslr like they buy fish in the market. :sweatsm:
2) is dslr become such a commodity that pple are buyin for the sake of buyin, even if they don't know how to use it, am not refering to the chim chim setup, but just the basics of adjusting the lens focal point.
hmmmm
