I am currently the Canon bag (black colour with red logo) that comes with my 450D.looking for a replacement as my gf always complain that bag is "ugly"...
I have only the kit lens at the moment.

110 at vivo canon showroom according to that thread, and ppl have been getting this bag as free gifts for buying dslr at comex, so you may be able to get it at a good price on the CS classifieds.

noticed alot of WTB ads for this bag.

Not sure if you want to be walking advertisement for Canon. There are plenty of other bags from Lowepro and other brands that fit your bill. Black is also more forgiving when it gets a bit dirty. Last but not least, low profile bags might keep unwanted people and their fingers further away. Personally: this bag is more ugly than the standard Canon bag (which served me well on many trips in my early days with 350d).

true...looks like advertising for Canon...

The red bag looks ridiculous, and it doesn't even have a Crumpler logo on the fron:thumbsd:t

im new too - just a canon 500D plus kit lens.. i got the lowepro slingshot 100.. i saw it on the lowepro price guide thread for $68 but i paid $80 at funan coz i was in a hurry n had trouble finding a store having it in stock.. but its a great sling bag, great design.. and weatherproof (got drenched the other day, but the inside was perfectly dry).. if u want more space, i guess u could get the slingshot 200

Agreed x2. Canon should pay you to advertise for them, not u pay to advertise for them :)

lowepro inverse 100/200?
Can pick up cheaper from BnS

Best for style and usability, IMHO,

Crumpler 5 Million dollar.

Domke F-3X Super Compact

May I know can e 5mil fit a cam with batt grip?Thks

U can fit in a cam with batt grip but would need to sacrifice your other items. 5 mil is purely for cam + kit (w/o grip), xtra lens and flash. :)

the canon 5MDH looks too conspicuous and shout "camera bag"

and you look like you're advertising for canon...

domke or thinktank will not be so obvious.

and they are quite big, having space for extra stuff once your body and lens are in.

thinktank you can try urban disguise (choose a respecive size for your eq)

and for domke, my recommendations are F3-X, J2, F8, F9.
