Awesome! You never fail to impress me Zeckson...!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Ha ha ha ha. I impressed you or Celestina impressed you? These photos won't work without Celestina's effort leh. And not forgetting that the make-up was done by Yan-ru! Also need to thank her for her efforts as well, although most of the time she stayed inside the car... Ha ha ha ha ha! Thanks for your comments ah. :)

sweeeet! Glad to see ur old style coming back  Love this series

Ha ha ha ha. This has been my signature style. The recent HDR-like images were experiments and practice. Anyway, I like these images as well. Glad that they work for you. Thanks for your comments. :)

she looks stunning! Great Series.

Not only stunning, Celestina is absolutely charming! But the only catch is, you must not get her tired or everything fades away... Ha ha ha ha! Thanks for your comments.

(I better run first before Celestina comes kicking me...)

I am very happy that you like so many images. It is always very encouraging when a photographer's work is being appreciated. In this case, many of my images are being appreciated. It gives me a lot of encouragement to continue what I am doing.

I always believe in striving to produce multiple images that contains a very strong visual impact, a stunning effect and a WOW. In my opinion, there is no point getting just 1 image that is good and the rest are bin material. Getting multiple good images shows good consistent control and skills and that is where a photographer's true skills and techniques shows.

Thanks a lot for your comments. :)

woW! very nice =)

Her make up gives me the feeling of a water nymph or mermaid. I would love to see her in the water for shots 18-23. Or give her a harp and she would have look like a mesmerizing siren hahahaa

cheers,

Tokina 12-24???

Wow, would you have done more if it was the Tokina 11-16??

i think any lens would have worked for someone like you hahaha

Very well controlled flash output bro Zeck.

Also, your PP style is suitable for this type of photos. Well done!

Hope to have the chance to shoot with you one day and learn from you. :)

Woh... Don't say that, bro. You are one of the pioneers of ClubSNAP. Learn what from me lah? I am more junior than you leh! We can exchange some ideas next time but saying that you are learning from me definitely throws me off my chair... 高攀不起.

Thanks for your comments, bro. :)

Love your #16, #17 & #18...

Your HDR portraits are nicely done. ;)

Thanks for your comments. I am always finding ways to breakthrough my own standards. I am someone who loves to bend the rules and step into the danger zone and try many experiements and see what I get. Most of the times I like what I get back.

Wide-angle HDR-like portraits are the in-trend thing now. Time to step out of your comfort zone now. Welcome to the new world. :)

Yes, I thought of using a harp also but where in the world would I find one and how to transport it? Silver.Wolf was nice enough to ferry us around. I don't dare to ask for more room in his car, considering we have 4 persons squeezing in... But a harp is definitely one of the items I wanted but dropped the idea due to limitations.

I also would like to take some shots with Celestina in water but she SPECIFICALLY rejected this idea. I can understand why. Not blaming her but I know why. :)

i love the concept and most of the shots but i think the accessories and clothes is not very apt for the theme. Maybe should try and elvish theme :)

Tokina 12-24???

No, there is no difference between the 11-16 and the 12-14 to me. I like the 12-24 better as it gives me more zoom range. Having an extra mm on a DX camera does not really mean much to me but the f/2.8 large aperture does count in dim light situations.

I usually shoot with my 18-55 VR, only on special occassions or special projects like this I will employ a super-wide lens. The distortions it gives are very dynamic and interesting. I am in love with it now. Ha ha ha ha!

Actually, any lens can be a good lens under the hands of a good photographer. :p

Bro, you using any softbox? or just pure flash?

Main light is always a shoot through umbrella except for a few shots I fired bare flash to get another feel. As for side lights, pure bare flashes. Wanted to diffuse the light somehow but my light stands are those cheapo tripods which cannot house any additional gadgets.

I am the Hero of the Poor. I cannot afford to buy expensive light diffusers. I always make my own (from plastic noodle cups to A4 sized white papers to translucent styrofoam). When you know how light works and have a sound understanding of how the effect will turn out, these cheap stuffs make great accessories! :D

Nemesis bro, thanks for your comments. Hmm... An elvish theme... Hmm... That gives me some ideas again... That may just be interesting... Hmm...

Anybody wants to work this out with me? :D

Let me know if you need helpers. If time permits, i would love to be part of all these as a helper and steal some tips hehehe. With your gracious permission of course.

We can always hope but she's lovely enough as it is hahaha
