you think this is sick? in china, the government pay 60 cents to the citizen for each dog they kill. google it.

Shocking...this image sends a chill down my spine. What makes these people so inhuman towards the feelings of an animal?
To be honest, if this happens to a fish, I will feel nonchalant. But I believe the cold-blooded can feel pain too.
Well, its what you hold dear. Dogs are food source in certain part of China. There isn't much emotional attachment for them unless they breed them as their emotional counterpart.

It is rumored that where there is a construction site with Chinese/Thai worker living quarters, there will be fewer stray dogs after some months... I dont want to find out, but i hope it aint true.
What u said made sense. Imagine if we were to breed dogs in farms only to slaughter them for food like cows & pigs.... why don't we feel for cows & goats etc? Aren't they with emotions & soul?

It is true, i have a good friend whom is a china man engineer, so work together with china men construction worker... they did tell him before they'll eat the packs of wild dogs around the industrial estate... industrial estate or those dumping grounds always got packs of wild dogs one hor?
I remember there's a news report some time back that remains of dog bones are found near some construction living quarters.
A fren of mine from China once told me that during winter at his hometown, u will not be able to see stray dogs around :sweat:
Well, look beyond that... all animals are food source... if there wasn't social norms and humanity codes to rule us, probably hannibal lector would be our idols.

Look at this in a better way dumping 300 dogs in an island with no ppl aka human to torture and disturb them might be a good thing also.. they can life their nature life start hunting like a real dog live and eat like a real animal
Personally I feel that dog or cat or rat or whatever animal should be live on the nature side

Hmm I doubt a dog which have been staying in city can live in nature anymore. That's what happened back there in Msia the last time, people start to 'fang shen' all the red eared terrapins into the nature and towards the end they found quite of number dead due to inability to adapt to nature.
It is the same like human, after you are so used to city life (having air-cond room, shoe, clothes, and food) i doubt you can just reverse and stay like a nomad :sticktong

speechless. i've always thought of China as a relatively cruel country.. i mean they eat bear's paws, dog meat, turtle soup and all t he funny stuffs.. And I've seen videos of them slaughtering the animals, alive and i feel totally disgusted.. i'm like a 3/4 vegeterian now -_-
regarding the dogs, i thought leaving them on the island's better than bashing them to death or being put down (like how our local SPCA do when they have too many dogs). just hope those lil dears will manage to hunt for food and survive on their own..
