That comes out to be SG$2300+ according to the current exchange rate of SG$2.6 to the £.
Very expensive.:(

Well... Camera equipment are much more expensive in Europe.
By that gauge, I'm blind guessing somewhere between S$1800-2000?
Maybe can get around $1800 range in Japan... Pentax homeland... :D

I would love to have the teleconverter 1.4, Flash and 15mm.

Surprised that the 55 is only SDM operated...

The DA15mm F/4 Ltd with the built in lens hood is really nice.

I almost mistook it for the FA31. Also looks like FA77. But I still prefer screw-on hood.

Built-in push/pull lens hood is so much easier than a screw-on one ;) The DA15, DA35 and FA77 all have the same hood design. I do think these three are excellent setup. Another great line up is the DA21/40/70 trio

is the 55mm FF compatible ?

Don't think so. The DA series are optimised for APS-C sensors and the specs of the DA55 indicate as such. The FA series on the other hand are suitable for both. :)

DA is optimized for digital sensors, its not describing the image circle coverage, both DA 200mm and DA 300 are FF compatible... 60-250 most likely is... but dunno about 55mm ??

Any indication of ring flash price for pentax. Sigma is also coming out with this flash.
Looks interesting with more competition and hope price will come down for macro lovers.

Targeted price is 40,000 yen, which by the time it reaches our shores could work out to a guesstimate of between S$550-650.

what happens if the DA 1.4x SDM Rear Converter is mounted with a normal DA lens without SDM ?

I guess it'd work as a normal AF lens, just like using a non SDM AF lens on a K10D/K20D :)

Any Updates for the TC 1.4?

heard about an new DA 11-16/2.8 lens (same as tokina 11-16/2.8)?
