definitely his actions cannot be condoned, as coming in here on the pretext of looking to do a photo shoot only to prey on unsuspecting victims will cause another fracas where we all want to avoid here in CS.
but lest anyone reading this thread has any ideas about trying to do this guy in, please think twice. Entrapment is illegal under all accounts. pple in the HWZ forum are saying to report him to the police and what not. but w/o sufficient proof of misconduct, there is effectively nothing to say. unless it has happened to someone and the person can speak up.
on a side note, not too sure if he is the same guy that has been going around saying that he can do photoshoot for young girls....

Erm, you sure entrapment is illegal? Any reference source to share? What sort of entrapment are you talking about?
I do remember reading that it is not illegal for police to entrap and cause someone to commit a crime, and then arrest that person. I am not able to substantiate this recollection so weigh it accordingly.

well according to what i know, it is illegal in certain jurisdictions. Cannot quite remember if SG considers it legal or not, so if I am wrong, I stand to be corrected.
In some cases the law in places like England and Wales, if the courts deem that if entrapment occurs, then certain prosecution evidence may be excluded, or the proceedings may be discontinued.
In this case, if someone has the idea of using a person as a bait to lure another into committing a crime even then it may well be the case of entrapment. As to whether or not the act stands by itself in this case as if committed by persons other than law enforcers, I cannot answer that. Vince, maybe you can provide some insight here?

To be honest, I don't know the answer either without conducting further research. I was just thought that you knew since you stated it in such uncertain terms. Other than the inkling memory which I have that the court have found police entrapment not illegal, I'm not aware of any other provision which says that entrapment is illegal.

I sincerely apologise for the mistake I made in the post as the term entrapment was used in the wrong context. Entrapment can and should only be used by law enforcers. Whether or not it is legal in the various jurisdictions is something that is left by the court of law to judge if the circumstances presented were tantamount to one with the subjective and/or objective test.
The term I should have used here is 'coerced'. I apologise for the grave error I made.
In reference to the point on te plot building up, I also apologise on that note as there was nothing in this thread that stated as such being pointed out buy Vince.
Out of good intentions, I just want to inform people to avoid taking any risky actions to lure such a person out as it may backfire.
