I happened on a BIG family of dogs too a long time back.

While fishing with my buddy at Lorong halus area, I was exploring with my bike and I intruded on their grounds where there was about 20 or so dogs in all sizes, big and small....

I realized that I was in the wrong area and stopped immediately. Next thing, 8 of the adults stood up and looked at me. I backed off slowly still pushing the bike and they walked me out of their area. Only after about 10m away, the adult dogs stopped following and allowed me to cycle away.... :sweat:

I made my way back to my buddy and told him, BIG family of dogs back there... better keep clear... :bsmilie:

Dogs read body language. if you exhibit fear, they will come as a group to chase you away.
It all about the sphere of territory. Once you come into the sphere, they will confront.

IF i accidently cross their area in an open field, i will just move my elbow and with a low pitch tone, signal to them not to come close.

But if they are a group of Rockweller, i probably will SIAM!
