Difference between AF 50mm f/1.4D and AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G

Anyone know the price and when they going to release it in singapore? I was planning to get a 50mm f/1.4, then saw this new product with a G. Any advice from bros/sis out there?

First difference:S$200 :bsmilie:

AF - Appx S$480 (give or take $20 depending on which shop)
AF-S - Was told around S$680.

Some shops I visited say they're expecting the AF-S this weekend or early next week.

Hijack this thread...does anyone know whether there are 3rd party prime lens (1.4F, 50mm) for Nikon?

I saw a Sigma lens at USD 730!
