your account suspended?

Anyway, i suggest you start a thread in the service offered as like other models who are offering their services. Please put up your recent pictures and link to your portfolio.

Do read up on the guidelines before starting and maintaining the thread. Strict rules applies.

okay, sure, i will, thanks for the advice.

So your mum's a model rite? You got someone to guide you. How about those without guidence and experience? Kena wolf in sheep skin how? You also cannot say it's ok without stating qualifiers.

well, my mum WAS a model. yes and those who have no guidiance should of course get some then.

yes but am i even misbehaving? and what do you mean by that, saying that you want to meet my mum and dad?
Firstly, no one said that your account was going to be or is suspended
and
i am saying that i find your parents really interesting and would not mind meeting them.

nothing more, nothing less

my mum doesnt think that my shoot was wrong though.

Congratulations to such parents. Not many have the courage to support their daughter in such cases. Can you describe more about this shooting? Where was it done (country)? How was it organized? Who were the participants; were it friends or have you advertised the shooting beforehand? How did you feel about that? Any feeling of being ogled on? I think these are the main topics people like to know here because that's the reason for this thread and many other heated debates.

Darren said so, and okay nothing more nothing less, i shall not take it to heart then.

okay thanks, it was done in singapore, in a studio, the photographer was a female but the IC of the lightings is a man. i covered my self properly so i really do not think that i was ogled on. my mum knew some contacts and an event was coming up, so it was not for fun or something. i was paid $75 an hour. are these info enough?

That's a different situation as what was the starting point of this fire here. Friends, recommendation and experience of your mother payed off and has given you a nice entry into modeling. Be careful on your next steps but I'm sure your mother will be a good guide and mentor in future, too.

Add to that... "helpful" photogs help to adjust your clothings and poses physically.

Just deregister this account lah.

She is promoting sleaze here, claiming her age to be 14 and having done nudity of one kind or another.

How convenient to have left out the real details.

The way you phrase your words and intentions a little at a time, you are obviously not who you are portraying yourself to be.

Seriously, the aim here is to get ideas to better the forums, something constructive to make this a better place for all parties involved.

Instead, there is alot of unnecessary provocations so as to provoke a response from Averal and me. Instead of finding a solution, everyone is just contented with pointing fingers. Pointing out the flaws of her suggestions and say that she is doing all this to generate attention or challenging her to conduct a shoot of her own. When asked to contribute , some just come up with a "Why Should I" attitude? Others label her as idealistic and say she is making a mountain out of a mole hill. That is because she cares for these young girls . She is not making money out of this. She is not getting a cent from anyone for doing this. In fact, she is getting flamed for every single thing she comments on. Just because she has the guts to stand out and say something.

I understand alot of photographers -Pro or hobbyist feels like they are being affected by this article. We think that alot of what we know now is going to change as a results of her actions but sometimes change is good. We fear change as we fear it will affect the way we lead our lives as we know it.

In the heat of the moment, hurtful words are hurled around like missiles and I am sure everything can be settled in a cordial manner. I appreciate those who are giving suggestions to make the forums a more condusive place to post in. As for the moderaters, I thank you for the effort you are putting in on a daily basis to patrol and make this a safe environment for all and yes, it is hard to keep an eye on every little thing in the forums itself and if any rude or unacceptable comments have been passed, I apologize. I sincerely hope we can put our personal differences aside and pool all our energies into making Clubsnap the most popular forums not only in Singapore but beyond that.

In peace the hand has been extended.

Merry meet and merry part till we merry meet again. :)

Merry my foot lah, cannot understand what is so merry with your posts.

When someone comes along and makes a suggestion, if that person has a good point, others will say so. If it is a possibility, you won't see many objections. If it is downright ridiculous, you will see criticisms. The reason why you see overwhelming crticisms is only because the suggestion is overwhelmingly ridiculous.

75$ hr and your first time modeling...

[Mod mode off]

Averral, i've been thinking, why are you setting so many rules and regulations on behalf of 'all the models', seriously, on what grounds are you to implement the rules and tell everyone what to do & what not to do.

We're all open to discussions, but we definitely do not like being told to do things by force, the way you are suggesting is simply by force.

The world doesn't revolve around you, you have to remember that. If you are trying to be famous, yes, you have done that... if you want to make history, probably so... if you want to make everyone conform to your rules, no... and definitely no way.

Saw somewhere before, someone said, newspaper offer classified ads section, does the newspaper have the liability & social responsibility to monitor every ads that is posted there? or even any advertisements that is in the papers? So if anything goes wrong, do we go to the papers for misrepresentation or should we actually go to the advertiser? So if the advertisement says that there is a free consultation for 1st 10 customers, should the press ensure that there is confirmed 10 free consultation? Or if they say there is 100 goodies bags giveaway, the press must send a representative there to check all 100 goodies bags?

Perhaps you are too young and ignorant to view the bigger picture, but don't let it get into your head that everyone owes you a duty of care.

Epic!

my advice would be to get your legal guardian to be present at the shoot.
if not, i would not shoot, you even if you paid me.
i second , third and fourth this

and i think all responsible and careful photographers should too

How can you be so sure of that? And in what way is she promoting sleaze?
