polarzier filter

for the wide angle lens, advisable to get those slim cir-polariser to avoid vignetting esp if u stack with the UV. i usually remove uv and shoot w the polariser when using WA lens
 

hi, any idea where to find polariziing filter for
Fujifilm S8000FD? i was told it's a fixed 38mm lens produced by
fujifilm itself. there was one which i did find at penisula plaza opp
e watch botique but tat fella quoted me around $120!! i should
be looking at circular ones right? thanks! :dunno:

Hmm looks like the guy was looking to rip you off. You should be looking at circular polarisers. That's right. Go to a reputable store like Cathay Photo, TK Foto, MS Color or John 3:16.

ok thanks, cathay din have stock last round. but
wa's the price range like so i dun get conned.
 

i got my tokina at ms colour 77mm at 45 bucks
 

As someone has asked, do you lose 1 or 2 stops when you use a CPL?

I am thinking of getting a CPL and leave it on the UWA lens permanently instead of the usual UV filter.
 

BTW, how about price of CPL (B+W), 58mm? where cheapest?
