Hi!

As above.

I'd be carrying a 40L backpack with my clothes, toiletries, food and plan to throw my brand new D60 + 18-55mm lens [though i have 2 lens, gonna bring just one] into it. No choice because i'm going climbing and need to travel as light as possible...

Any idea how i can store my preciousss without harming it?

Thanks!

During my last trip to Mt Kinabalu, kept my clothing in the backpack, while the D70 in the Lowepro top loader, for easy access and also for better protection. Always try light, else the extra weight can slow you down and spoil your trip, no kidding.

Thank you!

Any idea where i can get them? I tried Challenger 2 days ago and their bags selection is pretty limited.

Pardon my ignorance!

Very new :embrass:

challenger is expensive for camera bag... go cathay Penisular or SLS but remember to do your homework 1st before going to prevent any fraud.

Thank yousss :)

Went down to Cathay and got it!

For the body + 18-55mm lens, i got this http://optechusa.com/product/detail/?PRODUCT_ID=32&PRODUCT_SUB_ID=&CATEGORY_ID=5 to throw into the backpack. $26

Then for travelling after my climb, i got an extra lens case http://products.lowepro.com/catalog/Lens-Cases,11.htm [as recommended here] for my 55-200mm lens. $15

I did compare the price at John 316 and Cathay for a toploader casing which is good for just the camera body + 18-55mm lens : Lowepro 120 and found out that Cathay is cheaper by $12 for the exact item! [both after bargaining :p]

Thanks again for the help! Appreciate it lots. Now i can travel in peace [without worrying about scratches if i were to just wrap the camera and lens with clothes] and light too!:thumbsup:
