hmm where do u guys (sg ppl) upload your stock pictures? (and no, flickr is not a stock photography site)

microstock?
alamy?
getty?
corbis?

Been on shutter stock for awhile now.. quite strict though and in order to be effective you will need like 300+ images in your portfolio to even see any $...

eh its a royalty free site? like microstock?

hmm actually i just wanna poll which site is more popular among singaporeans (customers). most popular image sites are popular in US (only).

I upload to all the microstock sites - you need to shoot specific stock images in order to be successful as the competition is really tough now. A large portfolio is also essential for regular and consistent sales.

As for the customers, Singapore clients definitely download for the micros, you will see an increasing number of iStock pictures in ST and I see my pictures regularly in other publications such as Today, Shape and other ads (Guardian, Cold Storage etc...)

thanks for all your input. =D

looks like its even hard to generate some spare cash via stock.

btw: i heard alamy pays out very well. so i plan to put my best stock up there only. feasible?
