Hey guys, I'll be off to HK from 19th to 22nd Feb (next Tues to Fri). Anybody wants to bring anything back? Provided the item(s) are small enough to be included in my hand carry luggage (don't think you'd want your lenses in the luggage compartment of the plane right?) For the bigger lenses, might not be able to bring back with box. Limited pieces only cos I might not be able to carry so much back.
Specially for fellow TS-ers, a cheap pao tui fei (runner fee) of say, SGD $30? Should be reasonable right? I'll be transparent with you guys, if it's not acceptable, then by all means let me know. Anyway, I might not be able to get you what you want, at the price you want. Cos I'm going on a work trip and might only have 1 day or 1/2 day to shop. I'm also not familiar with the place so have to see where my boss brings me, but should be going to camera shop(s), cos I heard my boss wants to bring back some equipment as well. By the way, I'll be staying at a hotel in Tsuen Wan, Kowloon.
Let me know the item(s) you want me to help bring back, and the maximum you're willing to pay for it (excluding any runner fees, etc.) cos I might not be able to get it at the absolute best price. This is also to let me know how much you're willing to pay. Say if a lens is selling cheapest at $350, and you're willing to pay up to $380, let me know. So that if I can find anything between $350 to $380, I can just buy it. Might not be able to consult you cos I'll already be at the shop and might not be convenient to call (my phone doesn't have auto roaming).
Also, I'll need you guys to pass me the money 1st (via cash or IB), so that I have the capital to help you buy. Personally, don't have any funds to BBB so can only help you guys BBB. If there are any surpluses, I'll refund to you guys during collection. If your lens/item requires special checking, let me know what to check for.
Drop me a PM, it'd be easier for me to track. IB for transfer of funds might be better so I don't have to carry so much money around, and easier to check through reference numbers. Should be able to withdraw/NETS over there right? Sorry ah I sua ku.. :sweat:
