i was bemused with rafa's expression at the end of the game and the commentator going "smile, rafa, smile". i think rafa already thinking what to say during press conference. how come goals hard to come by in the last few matches especially with crouch not starting and tonight crouch start and score first and last goals.

or maybe rafa thinking we should have saved some of the goals to be scored in the epl.

and in gerrard's mind, if it comes down to the wire, the extra goals scored may just help us proceed to the round of 16. remember olympiakos. they scored an away goal at anfield and we needed three to proceed to the round of 16. the rest is history as they say.
