if i use public transport, i would

if i am dead tired, i will be asleep at home

sometimes dead tired still have to drag ownself to work mah.. not everyone is as lucky as you..

im guilty of refusing to give up my seat to a preggie lady - just once. that's like a week ago. i could barely woke up that morning, and my feet were hurting (working my arse out during the weekend) and from my house to the workplace the cab money would cost >S$20.

i usually sprang up from my seat whenever i see a preggie but just this one. i took the corner seat (those only 2 near the door) and this lady, instead of going nearer to the entrance in, she walked right in front of me and gave me that 'you better stand up' look and stood right in front of me. the guy next to me was sleeping (i think so) and then she put her hands on her waist. so i went :what: and then took out my psp to play. she then LL stood all the way.

am i selfish? i think i was and i felt really bad until now. we are all 'expected' to give up seats i guess, as i fully understand that it is really tiring to be preggie but hey, that kinda 'you owe me one million dollars' look is uncalled for.

i see u no up liao... :nono:

Sometimes when i feel sick, headache, flu I just close my eyes and sleep.

Won't even notice if preggy or old woman standing infront of me.

Anyway we have to face the fact that singapore is getting less and less gracious.

It's all abt money

It is so sad...

(o.o)y

not feeling well, go see a doctor

go to work also not productive
if can still be productive at work, then not dead tired

Sometimes sick oso must drag himself to work. Otherwise tongues will wag.

if u see someone old or a pregnant lady would u give up your seat, say on the public transport, even though u're dead tired?

sadly, most ppl i see daily in the train either pretend to be asleep or pretend to be engrossed in reading something.... :sticktong

Yeah.. I even see police trainees in uniform. They just sit there do nothing about it. There was once someone on crutches, nobody let her sit also.. Then when the seat in front of me cleared, someone wanted to rush in to take it, so I stepped forward to prevent them from getting the seat and leaned over to get the lady to come and sit.. Terrible!! Chatting with friends, reading newspaper, reading bible, reading sutras seems more important than anything else. :(

i think some ppl dont understand sick still must drag ownself to work. not everyone is fortunate to take mc or leave whenever feel sick. im due for medical checkup at hospital like another 2 weeks' time. Sg is becoming ungracious? it's not funny when ppl push you just to get seats sometimes , thats how ugly we have become.

im guilty of refusing to give up my seat to a preggie lady .......................
too bad, I'm not there... I will give her my seat, even I'm dead tired and with my camera bag.
I will give her my business card, and tell her that I do maternity portraits after she sit down.......

how about asking her to sit on your thigh instead?
so both of you get to sit, a win win situation.

btw, I will give up my sit to anyone who is needed, cos I won't be dead tired, if I do, I will take a cab.

what happen if the pregnant woman wants to sit on your thigh????:bsmilie:

looks like time to change jobs
