ya.i'm out of my f mind.

that's why i need a f break.

but it won't be much of a break with a 5 month old baby in tow. ...

but whatever makes you tic ...

I really like Hokkaido ... maybe my fav of all Japan

best to go without the baby
or wait for spring

Spring (March - May) - The plum blossom is a good sign that the cold winter will soon end and spring is just around the corner, followed by the cherry blossom at its best in the Tokyo area between the end of March and the beginning of April to bring this beautiful season to a climax. Splendid views of mountains, fields and gardens all blanketed in gentle pink abound in this season.
Clothing: light jackets, light sweaters and other similar kinds of tops.

IMO, if you would like go for a vacation break, leave the baby here, or else it could lead you to endless wake up at nights to look after the baby. I wouldn't call that a vacation..

you like nudes lah.ya lah ya lah:sticktong

the baby will be just fine in the temperature, that is provided she is packed up nicely in warm clothing....
nobody keeps the kids indoors in cold countries (including Switzerland where i grew up...), one just needs to take the right precautions.

a road trip might actually be much easier with a 5months old than with a 2-5year old... just make sure she has her baby seat and stays in there, not on mummy's arms... then it will be a breeze...

It's not only the night. During the day time, babies have very interesting behaviours too. Sometimes they just cried for reasons unknown to me... especially when you lost your way with a baby who is irritated and crying...

THANKS!that's what i want to hear.:bsmilie:

no lah..i appreciate all comments.

people told me i will freeze in switzerland but i love it there.-8 degrees.blouse + a jacket.no sweat!

prime tours told me if i state bringing baby, they will provide a baby seat FOC in the rented car.

cant help it if it offends but it is the truth if you are gonna bring the kid over during that period. This is coming to the end of summer nad most flowers have passed their bloom already. Winter is too cold for the kid. If you are looking to go soon, then try somewhere further south, kyusyu or okinawa.

then you should consider locations with conditions more easily adaptable for your niece. start by checking if she has any health issues. hokkaido is cold in autumn.

sigh....i really dunno where else to go.i dont like hot countries.
and i dont like places where it's tourists packed.
hokkaido in oct sounds good according to many of my friends who's been there.at least, it's not school holidays yet.

she has no health issues.
her doctor told her mum as long as both are comfortable, not an issue at all.

but of course, i would like to do more 'homework' first.

I think australia and NZ are in spring season right now might be a better idea to bring the toddler to the southern hemisphere where it'll be warmer than the northern part...peru and machu pichu? just my 2cents...

can i sneak into the car's boot? :p

hokkaido's getting colder, its perfectly fine to bring little kids there.. after all japanese babies do grow up in hokkaido too..

just ensure that you have the proper/right amount of clothing for the little tot. but if you want to shoot, then you probably cannot go when it gets too cold i.e. winter, unless you want to shoot a little baby wrapped in quite a few layers of clothes.

and when driving around, it helps, at various stops to shoot etc, to leave the engine running and heater running keeping the car nice and warm just incase it gets a little chilly. come to think of it.. i've never turned off the engine at pitstops whenever i drive through light snowing.. but that was only a couple of small road trips though

btw.. nihongo ga wakarimasu ka?~
