Hi again,

As the title reads, I am on the lookout for my first ever lens for my Nikon D200.
Have been borrowing from a generous friend of mine these past weeks, and I am returning it today.

My budget is around $400-500 and I will be using it to shoot general photos (people, landscapes). So there ya go.

Your two cents are much appreciated! Thanks. :)

Cheers.

D200 arr....best use 17-55 or 17-35...

cause i believe if you can afford a semi pro body...i sure u can afford a better lens...

Get the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. It is slightly above your budget, but once you use a f/2.8 lens, there is no turning back! ;)

Do you know the market selling price? An estimate is fine :)
Thanks.
