Ah Thanks! Here's a photo from today's HeritageFest Singapore at Suntec. Foxcorn was there as well with a better camera so he would probably post something more presentable than mine. Taken with an IXUS 850 P&S, ISO was set to 200 as I didn't want a lot of noise (exposure time mostly ended up between 1/15 to 1/20) and most of my pics turned out blurred :cry: Taking this, the 3.8x zoom and the crowd tomorrow at IMM, I decided I'll give it a skip Focusing looked fine on the LCD but quite a few also turned out to be slightly out of focus (like this one). Would anyone have any tips on how to improve on focusing at events like these?

just a picture of multiple shots, two shots combine. did masking and some cloning of the shadows and some brightening of the photo. Still find the lighting lousy though

sacrificing blur with ISO sometimes can be useful! but the choice of noisy or blur, i choose noisy! haha try again tml mah..u never know. but ..b.. told me rumours has it pple are camping there liao..security guards at IMM do something!

The Q is the deal killer. Actually, could one handle situations like this with a DSLR better in terms of focus? Am going home to play with my brother's D80 before saving up to buy one. :bsmilie:

not sure, guess it depends on thelighting and the distance from the subject? thats why i like street! lots of sunlight! haha

okay my camera whatever it is, if bring to school is mainly to take snapshots perhaps portraits or candid. maybe lectures things that i might forget? hahahah (need zoom)

How did u get to tilt while you take a photo of it? Is it magic? ;p
