looks like we got another competitor for cable tv.

good.... looking forward to their HD channels....

starhub only got 2 HD channels....bummer....

But i dont think they are able to offer EPL right

This one needs a comp to work??? If BB low speed (eg 512K) can???

no need comp. they will issue u a receiver/decoder box but i think there's a minimum for the broadband speed. First step to ending the monopoly of SH.. Kudos to Singtel!

I hope EPL will no longer be exclusive and SH will get a taste of their own action on forcing the increase in price onto its contract customers.

Even if you have HD channels - content not there. Don't think there will be much takers.

Mediacorp in the coming months is also coming out with another channel broadcasted in HD over the air.

Another catch is that they didn't state the required ADSL plan / bandwidth for one to use it.

You so rich, 50+++ is nothing to you la.

Btw, IPTV might not be offering programs that could match SCV too as SCV was here for some time already. No matters how, we still have to pay them and in the end, they still makes $. :thumbsd:

I doubt so abt the EPL issue. Its an exclusive SH offering - that's why they pay so much to get the rights. So they will not let Singtel get a sniff of EPL.

Maybe we can get some action from other leagues like the SPL, La Liga or something like that.:thumbsd:

I see how first cause the telephone plug quite far from my TV. Secondly, their choice of program also don't know gd or not. Thirdly, wait they take over from SCV, they increase price after we sign contract?

MIO has been facing alot of technical problems since launch though are now improving. Hopefully the MIO tv fares better...

So with this TV, what will happen to the current BB??? Both are treated as totally 2 different items on the bill???

I noticed that there is no dedicated sports channel offered by MIO TV. Correct me if I am wrong.

There is one sports channel. $8 per mth. But you get no live EPL or golf or tennis. It is sports news channel.
