was leaving lee ferry's (coconino county) on a bus which was ferrying me back to the north rim. i was sleepy but suddenly i felt something in the scenery calling out to me... no kidding. i turned to look and was a little surprised to see such sharp distinctive features in the rock that i had never seen before.. without thinking twice flicked the switch on my cam on and snapped as quickly as i could.. fortunately it turned out well, didnt have the time to zoom and compose as the bus was moving away pretty quickly
yup its a crop, i snapped it through a bus window, a slight bit of the bus window was caught in the left and the border tint left a slight vignette (was thinking of whether to de-shadow that region in PS though.. havent gotten down to doing it).. my post processing work is still not very good
i saw them before the shot :bsmilie: i wish i could be standing there in the silence.. listening to the deafening silence occasionally punctuated by the sandy desert wind...
oh yes... they do... they seem to look at you with that many pair of eyes... when i first re-looked at the picture on my hdd, i couldnt forget how nature had shaped them that way
the sky's really blue at the grand canyon a real lack of water there and its cold
this picture was slightly adjusted in hue, as the bus window was tinted, the hue was adjusted to be similar to other GC pictures i had taken out in the open ;p
