You realize under certain cirumstances that he can sue for his rate being publicly discussed right? Its violation of confidentiality and fair competition. That being said IF he really is undercutting the market rate he's not only hurting the market but himself in the long run.

what hold reflector! for a small fee you get to do the real thing and experience shooting a real event, just think of the great pictures you can put in your portfolio ;p
