Hey guys, just curious, in Singapore what's the usual agreement about copyrights and licensing? Do you guys charge a basic service fee, then additional for licensing? Or simply one lump sum and transfer rights to client?

Would like to know from across the different media. I think like magazine shoots, the agreement will be different from that of advertising shoots right?

Asking coz I'm a newbie here, and the last job I did for the client, the client seemed familiar with licensing, but unwilling to pay for it. So wondering what the normal market agreement is.

I don't think there's much of a market agreement, but I'll let the pros confirm that.

I suspect its case by case, depending on strength of bargaining position between the parties, the budget and usage for the photos etc.
